Applying for the 2019 Clinical Excellence Awards

ACCEA announces details of the timetable for applying for new awards and renewals in 2019.

The 2019 Clinical Excellence Awards round will open on Thursday 7 February and close at 5pm on Thursday 4 April.

THE CLOSING DATE FOR BIDA APPLICATIONS IS FRIDAY 15TH MARCH

ACCEA will accept applications for new national awards and from those due to renew their award in 2019.

Consultants will need to put in a renewal application if:

1. they received their current award in the 2015 round

2. their award was last renewed in 2014 (awarded in 2010, 2005, 2000)

In some cases, consultants will be renewing out of the usual cycle. Awards are reviewed earlier if there is a change in job or a significant change in job plan.

We will publish 2019 application guidance ahead of the round opening.
